Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our Site. We value the rights of intellectual property and expect others to do the same. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a copyright owner or their representative can send a takedown notice to us. As an internet service provider, we can claim immunity under the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions. To submit an infringement claim, specific information is required:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that was infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and details to locate it;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement that the use of material is unauthorized;
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and the complaining party has the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Title 17 USC §512(f) outlines penalties for misrepresentation in infringement claims. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for prompt attention.
It should be noted that we may share the information from copyright infringement claims with the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you acknowledge this sharing of information.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If material is taken down due to a copyright claim, you can submit a counter notification to have it restored. The notification must include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the material taken down and its original location;
- A statement that the material was removed by mistake;
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement and monitor repeat offenders. Accounts of repeat infringers will be terminated.
